DJ Plugg’s production of 21 Savage’s first single, “Picky,” was made available on November 12, 2014. Later, it was included in The Slaughter Tape, his debut mixtape, which was made available on May 25, 2015. DJ Khaled’s April 2021 song “Let It Go” from his twelfth studio album, Khaled Khaled, featuring 21 and Justin Bieber. He released an EP with the same name on May 14, 2021, which served as the official music for the movie Spiral: From the Book of Saw. That same day, he appeared on the song “My Life” from J. Cole’s sixth studio album, The Off-Season. On the Billboard Hot 100, the song peaked at number two.
