Silkk’s a debut album, The Shocker, produced by Beats By The Pound, DJ Daryl, K-Lou, and T-Bone, was released in August 1996 by No Limit Records after a deal with Priority. After changing his name to Silkk the Shocker, he appeared on several albums, including TRU’s Tru 2 da Game, Mia X’s Unlady Like, and Mystikal’s Unpredictable.
In 1997, he recorded a few No Limit CDs under the Shocker moniker. Silkk appeared on Master P’s popular single “Make ‘Em Say Uhh!” from his 1997 album Ghetto D, which was a huge hit in the United States. Following the success of the smash tune, Silkk would release “It Ain’t My Fault,” a collaboration with labelmate Mystikal. It Ain’t My Fault grew in popularity and became one of Silkk the Shocker’s signature songs. “Just Be Straight with Me,” a new single featuring Destiny’s Child, was released. Silkk was featured on Mya’s hit single “Movin’ On” off her self-titled debut album Ma the same year. Charge It 2 Da Game grew in popularity over time, spending nearly a year on the Billboard album rankings. After a few months, it was declared platinum.
In January 1999, he released his second solo album. It Ain’t My Fault 2 (feat. Mystikal) and Somebody Like Me (feat. Miller’s second single from Incredible, “We Ain’t Even Trippin,” was released on May 19, 2014.

Miller released the music video for his second single, “We Ain’t Even Trippin,” on August 24, 2015, directed by T. Church. Miller would release “Business,” the third single from Incredible, on September 4, 2015, featuring No Limit Forever in-house producer BlaqNmilD.
